Launched in 2003 the DHC race team started in conjunction with DHCyclesport the shop. Owner and Team Manager, Dave Harding saw it was essential to have a race team not only to promote his new store, but more importantly to support the local cycling scene both on and off the race track.

Early successes included young rider Tom Butt leaving for the British Cycling Talent Team and this set the foundation for a DHC Development squad, where young riders could be introduced to racing under the guidence of an experienced team.

Since then DHC have gone from strength to strength becoming one of the biggest and most-recognised race teams in the south of England. In 2007 DHC were officially ranked number one in the south, something which continues in 2008.

Most recently DHC have started sponsoring the Portsmouth Summer Circuit Series and organised several successful road races. The plans for the future include expansion of the race team and continued support of cycling in the south.

See you on the road.
